Nymphs making their way up a maple tree in our yard on May 19, 2004.

This time-lapse (1 min intevals) shows large numbers of nymphs making their way up into the trees each night. Similar swarms were making their way up the other side of the tree as well as most of a dozen other trees in our yard. The movie compresses a period of about 1.5 hours into about 10 seconds (the movie is set to loop it looks continuous).
