Time-lapse series taken in our garden between 12:00 am and about 6:00 am at 1 min intervals on May 15, 2004.

This movie provides a good indication of the amount of cicada activity in our yard during the night. Cicada nymphs can be seen looking for a place to eclose and a number are seen undegoing various stages of eclosion. Based on this movie and the numbers of cicadas hanging on plants in our garden in the mornings, this movie is represntative of the cicada activity during the peaks nights of Brood X emergence.
