Indiana Daffodil Society
The Indiana Daffodil Society consists of an active group of enthusiasts who enjoy sharing their passion for daffodils. The group holds meetings and special events, such as their daffodil shows and bulb sales, at Holliday Park in Indianapolis, IN.

Elizabeth graduated in May 2013 with a B.S. in Biology, a B.A. in Germanic Studies, and a minor in chemistry. She was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society, as well as to Delta Phi Alpha, the national German honor society. Elizabeth was also an Indiana University Founders Scholar. During her undergraduate career, she did research in several of our plant sciences laboratories. These include: one year in Keith Clay’s lab, where she conducted research on the evolutionary relationship between North American Hemlock trees; she spent two months in Heather Reynolds’ lab researching the soil microbial communities of native and invasive plant species; and her last nine months at IU were spent as a member of Rich Phillips’ lab, where she conducted an independent research project on the leaf decomposition rates of different tree species in a mycorrhizal fungi gradient. Elizabeth’s work in the Phillips lab inspired her to apply to graduate schools in restoration or conservation ecology, and her ultimate goal is to work for the Nature Conservancy.
