Michelle McKee, 2012-2013 Ferguson Intern

Michelle McKee is earning a B.S. in Biology with minors in chemistry and Italian. A member of Keith Clay’s laboratory, she researches the symbiotic relationship between the Morning Glory plant and a fungus. Michelle has been on the Dean’s List, earned an Indiana University Excellence Scholarship, an Overseas Study Scholarship, and a 2010 Founding Scholar award. She is a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta, and the Phi Eta Sigma Honorary Societies. Michelle’s goal is to continue researching plants and their medical applications. She spent the spring 2012 semester abroad, studying at the University of Bologna.
