Susan Keen graduated in May 2012 with High Distinction, earning B.S. degrees in Neuroscience and Microbiology, along with a B.A. in History, and Minors in Chemistry and Spanish. She was a Cox Research Scholar in Malcolm Winkler’s lab. Susan was a member of the Hutton Honor’s College. In 2010, she was named a McClung Scholar and received a Microbiology Undergraduate Summer Research Program Award. Susan co-authored two papers, one published in The Journal of Bacteriology and the other in mBio. She is now attending IU Medical School, and is interested in a career in medical research.
