About Dan Grossman
Ophthalmologist R. Daniel Grossman earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences from our department in 1973. Like his father, Rex, Dan played football for IU. He earned his M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine and did a residency at Baylor School of Medicine. He opened his practice here in Bloomington in 1980.

Brent Bagley graduated in May 2013 with a B.S. in Biology and Neuroscience, as well as minors in chemistry, psychology, and medical sciences. He was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa national honor society last year, was on the Dean’s List, was named an IU Founders Scholar and a College of Arts and Sciences Student of Highest Distinction. He was an undergraduate teaching assistant for L112 Biological Mechanisms; for three semesters of L311 Genetics; and for two semesters of A215 Basic Anatomy. He starts medical school at the IU School of Medicine in the fall.
