Melissa Burger, 2013 Outstanding Honors Thesis Award Recipient

Melissa graduated in December 2012 with a B.S. in Biology with Departmental Honors and a Certificate in Animal Behavior. She joined Lynda Delph’s lab in 2009 and continued her research there after graduation. The title of her thesis was “Assortative Mating in C. remanei is Independent of Ecological Treatment.” Melissa was an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for the L112 Biological Mechanisms course.
