Zarina was recognized for her exemplary work with the Biology L111 Diversity, Evolution, and Ecology course taught by Kristi Montooth. Zarina taught her own discussion section each week and held weekly office hours at the IMU Starbucks where she helped students develop their study skills. Her knowledge, patience and genuine love of teaching will be invaluable as she pursues a career in science education.
