Rhyan Dockter came to us from Brigham Young University where he earned a B.S. and an M.S., both in Genetics and Biotechnology. His undergraduate and Master’s research involved the plant Penstemon, commonly known as Beardtongue. He developed several unique cultivars, using mutagenesis and plant breeding, and surveyed differences in genome size among various species of this perennial. Rhyan has coauthored three articles on his research. All of these have been accepted for publication or are in press.
