Biotechnology Graduate Program

The Masters of Science in Biotechnology at Indiana University is an intensive program designed to give students an understanding of the principles underlying biotechnologies as well as hands-on experience in advanced techniques.  The program requires only one year to complete and focuses on biochemical, cell, and molecular biological applications in biotechnology.  Graduates of the program can pursue careers in research institutions, biotech and pharmaceutical companies, and health care facilities as well as legal firms and regulatory agencies.  The M.S. Biotechnology program at IU is a good choice for: new graduates who would like to gain more knowledge and hands-on experience before entering the career field, current employees at biotech companies who would like to make themselves more upwardly mobile, and students who are looking to pursue a degree in patent law in the future.

M. S. Biotechnology Program Highlights

  • The program entails only one academic year to complete the required 30 credit hours.
